Oudespoor Guesthouse is the oldest guesthouse in Brits. Beautifully decorated in an old world train theme, the house brings back memories of an era long forgotten. Bed & Breakfast accommodation is offered with dinner available by prior arrangement. Oudespoor Guesthouse was the first and is the oldest guesthouse in Brits. The main house itself used to be the station master’s house way back in the 1960’s. In 1992 it was converted into a guesthouse after the local hotel in Brits closed its doors. The dining room is decorated with old steam train type memorabilia. The wooden floors have been restored to their original glory. We currently have 10 rooms available for guest accommodation, each with private entrances and en-suite bathrooms. Each room is named after a steam train that traveled around South Africa many years ago and some that still travel today. We have a very large patio with braai facilities overlooking the sparkling swimming pool and stunning green garden for those guests who wish to relax outside rather than be confined to their rooms. ACCOMMODATIONSix of our rooms have double beds and four of our rooms have single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed should the need arise. Two of our rooms can accommodate a 3rd sleeping place on another single bed. Special requests for children to share with parents can be accommodated. As your hosts reside on the property, late check in times can be co-ordinated with them. However if you wish to arrive earlier than 14h00, please just communicate this with us. Check out time is by 10h00 on departure day. Honeymoon Suite Our Blou Trein room is our famous bridal suite which we present to the wonderful bridal couple ending their special day on a high note in a Candlelit Atmosphere with Complimentary Champagne and lovely smelling Flower Petals - all at no extra cost. Room Facilities• Remote Controlled Television with SABC 1, 2, 3, ETV, M-Net and 1 “Pick of the Day” DSTV Channel. • Mini fridge • Complimentary, bottled water, tea and coffee making amenities • Complimentary bathroom amenities • Heaters for those cold days and fans for those very hot days in summer. • Desk and chair with reading lamp • A wireless network with high speed internet connectivity allows guests to send and receive their e-mails and access the internet from their laptops all at no extra cost. Wireless network cards are available from us. • Virus-free computer facilities for those guests who don’t have their own laptops with them. Meals Hot and cold breakfasts are included in the daily rate and are served from 06h00 till 10h00 each morning. We also have dinner available by 6 hour prior arrangement at an additional cost. ULTIMATE GETAWAYSOudespoor has put together a special weekend leisure activity package for those corporate and non-corporate guests who would like to treat their customers and clients to a spectacular weekend away. Golf, Paintball, Cheetah Tour, Elephant Tour and Game Driving all done by traveling on a fantastic party bus with on-board bar and 5000W Sound System. Quotations can be obtained from Johann Schutte for a maximum of up to 16 people per weekend. LOCATIONOudespoor is situated very close to the CBD and Industrial area of Brits, and for those who prefer walking or don’t have your own transport, a trip to the shops will take about 10 minutes. Within 10-15 minutes drive from us we have the Elephant Sanctuary, De Wildt Cheetah Sanctuary, Hartebeespoort Dam with flea markets, art galleries, cultural villages and other wildlife parks. Sun City and Pilanesberg is a 45-60 minute drive away. We are 60kms from Pretoria and 90kms from Johannesburg International Airport. ACCREDITATIONS
