We returned to Durban and chose to stay at Norfolk House again. We stayed in the garden apartment. It was absolutely fantastic. A year had gone by since our last visit; but the house and gardens are very well maintained, clean, everything was in good working order. Patience the Housekeeper is an absolute gem. Security was being improved whilst we were there, more effecient security gates were being installed, there is also a user friendly burglar alarm as an added measure. The area is still safe, but it's good to have that little extra for piece of mind. WE WILL BE BACK!! |

The accommodation was wonderful; contemporary, sophisticated and very comfortable. Add to this the excellent and low key service and you have as good an experience as my wife and I could wish for travelling with our family of four children aged 8 to 14. We stayed in the downstairs 3 bedroom suite and I would highly recommend Norfolk House both to families or adult groups. |

My family and I stayed in the downstairs apartment. The house is situated in an affluent suburb, a short drive to the beach but close enough to the shops, restaurants etc. The property is very secure in terms of electric gates, intercom system, electric fence, security guard etc. The interior design is modern, furnishings are fantastic and very clean. The garden is well manicured with a splash pool. The owner and the staff provided a superb service, not instrusive. I highly recommend it to families as the house is very spacious inside and outside. |
