Home of Helen Martin’s well-known Owl House, Nieu-Bethesda is a haven for peace and quiet; a tranquil and safe artist’s village which is only 50kms from Graaff Reinet. The village is situated close to the Compassberg Mountain.
The village boasts a selection of arts and crafts centres, art galleries, coffee shops, restaurants and even its own brewery! Remember though, Nieu-Bethesda does not have petrol, bank or credit card facilities!
