We would just like to Thank You for an Amazing stay at Nguni! Everything was perfect and better than we could ever have imagined… A big Thank you to all the staff at the lodge, Lucas, Angie, Heste, Tami and all the others for welcoming us and delivering such great hospitality and service, each one of you make the lodge what is it!
Another Thank you to the ladies that ensured that our room was so neat and tidy – you made the stay very comfortable.
Zane – Thank you for the fantastic food, what more can we say? Each meal was divine and prepared with such passion and attention to detail…
Thank you to our terrific guide Ruan. The trip would not have been the same without you as our guide. Your knowledge of the animals was amazing. You are passionate and enthusiastic about what you do and made every minute interesting and enjoyable.
And lastly, Thank you Lynne for all your help and for your patience when we needed to postpone the trip – again! If only we’d known how fantastic it was going to be, we would have been there long ago!
All in all, it is a fantastic lodge and holiday and we would recommend it to anyone that needs to relax and be pampered! |

The lodge itself is just spectacular, with accommodation beyond our wildest imaginings. Fortunately this is complemented with great people who all made us feel so incredibly welcome.
Our principal guide "Apollo" was such a pleasure to spend time with and his bush knowledge and spotting abilities sublime. David too was such an enthusiastic and passionate ranger who I really enjoyed spending bush time with.
All the staff at the lodge were so friendly and always prepared to go the extra mile with a smile. We won't forget Cynthia's Vetkoek for quite some time too!
Please pass on our thanks to Lucas and his team who left an indelible impression on us.
Hope to see your wonderful destination again and enclose some pics of some special sightings. My first Stanley's Bustard!!
(David will remember the awesome rainbow sunrise and our close encouter with Valli Moosa. Henrick certainly won't forget our tyre changing adventure.) |

Just a note to thank you so much for all that you and your staff did to make our wedding day so memorable. Nguni is a very special place and Angie pitched the wedding arrangements perfectly. Christo also worked hard to make everything go well – the bedroom was amazing. David was extremely knowledgeable and fantastic on the game drives. Both David and Christo did a great job of the photos. The food was all very good - can you thank the chef for the cake – it was lovely? Thanks for putting us in touch with Chris – he was brilliant. All in all a fantastic stay in a superb, very well run, game lodge. |

Dearest Nguni Team
This is just a short note to say a huge thank you for spoiling us so much on our stay there last month. Everything was just amazing. From the breathtaking views to the amazing service. A huge thank you to David who made such an effort to make those rides interesting and who managed to do so with such enthusiasm. Also to the best chef, Zane - wow, his food was amazing - that tomato soup.... What more can we say? He was passionate about his food and always presented his dishes to us personally, which was wonderful. To all the ladies that cleaned our room and made it look so amazing and romantic- thank you. To the gentlemen that carried our bags thanks - we know they were quite heavy... And to the team of managers / hosts that were always so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel special, thank you. Our stay at Nguni was the highlight of our honeymoon by far. |
