A wonderfully unique experience for my family for our first time visiting Oudtshoorn. The place is well situated, and our host was friendly and made us feel welcome. The suite was tastefully furnished and comfortable. The amenities for kids, from the pool to the playground (my kids loved the ship themed jungle gym) and the novelty of the yachts is just wonderfully refreshing and unique. I will be going back and recommend Mount Noah to anyone visiting Oudtshoorn or surrounding areas.

A great stay at a very unique accommodation - first time we've ever slept in a yacht with views of the Karoo desert! The yacht we slept in was very comfortable with a big bed and A/C which is essential for January in Oudtshoorn. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Having a swimming pool also a big plus. Only complaint is that there could be a bit more privacy between the yacht itself and the connected bathroom - perhaps a swing gate or sliding door blocking this area from view.

Good day It's not like me to want to say bad about any one, especially since it is someones bread and butter. But I would NEVER recommend this place to any of my family or friends or enemy. The staff and the eldest son who is one of the owners was friendly he chattered to us, especially when he heard we were from Seychelles and my husband works in the boating industry. BUT There was a very unwelcoming atmosphere in the air. The accommodation was very neat and tidy BUT we had to request glasses for the room. Out stay was for 2 nights but we were not refurbished with toilet paper or clean towels. The ladies asked us whether we would like the room to be cleaned which we confirmed and agreed on but nothing was done. On the Mount Noah Lodge page it stipulates all prices include breakfast. (False advertising) We were told that breakfast will cost us R100 per adult and R50 per child..., hence we had to go out and find food every day. We bought drinks at the bar and paid cash immediately, there was no change in the till to give us our change, yet on our departure this bill was marked as outstanding. On our return from being out we punched in the code for the gate, whilst we were driving through the younger brother closed the gate on our car. Lucky my husband noticed it and sped through. I did bring it to the attention for the receptionist on duty. Like I mentioned staff was friendly and the son was accommodating. But I will not refer any one to this place
