About Morgan Bay Hotel
Just an hour’s drive from East London along the Wild Coast you will find the Morgan Bay Hotel. Established in 1946, this family run hotel is situated between majestic cliffs of the Wild Coast and a mile-long stretch of unspoilt beach.
Known affectionately to many as ‘Morgs’, the Morgan Bay Hotel is fast becoming a favourite family holiday destination and a choice venue for many weddings and conferences. This 3-star establishment attracts visitors both locally and also further a field including Germany, America and England.
The hotel comprises of 34 rooms including sea facing, non-sea facing and deluxe rooms including inter leading family rooms. All rooms come standard with a ceiling fan, en-suite bathrooms, DStv and tea and coffee facilities. Baby cots can be provided on request. A children’s TV lounge and an adults reading lounge are also available to use.
Breakfast and Dining
Guests will be able to enjoy a continental breakfast and five course dinner in the hotel dining hall or choose to eat on the patio over looking the gardens and Indian Ocean. An alternative restaurant and bar offers an expansive menu of breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner dishes which can get ordered throughout the day. Two licensed bars, including a guests only bar are available and waiters are available throughout the day to take orders.
Conferences and Functions
A brand new venue for conference and wedding hire is also available. We cater for the more casual and informal conference for up to 120 people. We are able to host banquet, board room, cinema and U-shape style conferences. Conference packages are also should you choose us to manage the catering and accommodation for delegates.
We also offer additional services including printing, WiFi, typing, stationary and audio and visual hire as well as airport transfers and a shuttle service.

You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to activities to keep busy. These include hiking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, beach combing and abseiling to name a few. Nearby squash and golf is available. Children will be kept entertained enjoying the swimming pool and games room including pool, table tennis and darts. For the less adventurous, our beauty Spa offers a range of massage treatments to help you relax and unwind. Or why not enjoy a cocktail on the deck enjoying a 180’ degree view of the rugged Wild Coast and Indian Ocean.
The Sandhoppa boutique is also open and sells a range of branded clothing, footwear, hand bags, costumes and towels to ensure you have everything you need for your stay should you have forgotten anything.
