Mont d'Or Clarens

FROM JOHANNESBURG<.a>
• Take the N3 from Johannesburg to Durban
• Take the R26 Frankfort road off the N3
• Turn off on the Villiers / Frankfort off ramp, just after the Engen One-Stop
• Turn right after the off ramp towards Frankfort (R26)
• At T–Junction turn right (R26)
• Turn left at Reitz / Bethlehem still on the R26
• Pass the town Reitz en route to Bethlehem
• 53km from Reitz you will reach Bethlehem, continue straight through Bethlehem
• After Bethlehem follow signs for the R711/2 to the Golden Gate & Clarens, follow this road for 30 kilometres
• As you pass through the “neck” of Clarens, you will see a sign board: “Mont d’Or Hotel & Conference Centre” turn right and follow the road. We are situated right next to Maluti Mountain Lodge

FROM DURBAN
• Take the N3 towards Johannesburg
• Turn off the N3 at the Winterton / Central Berg turn off just after the Escourt Ultra City
• Continue through Winterton and Bergville up the Oliviershoek Pass
• Still on the R74 go past the Sterkfontein Dam on your left. You will eventually get to a T-Junction. Turn left towards Qwa-Qwa (R712)
• Continue on this road. Do not turn off anywhere; go through the Qwa-Qwa and Golden Gate Park towards Clarens
• Go past the Clarens turn off as if you are heading towards Bethlehem. Just after the Clarens turn off, take the first turn off to your left thereafter. Follow the road, we are situated right next to Maluti Mountain Lodge

FROM DURBAN (alternative route)
• Take the N3 towards Johannesburg
• As you approach Harrismith, take the Bethlehem off ramp to the left
• Drive straight through Harrismith en route to Bethlehem
• As you approach Bethlehem, turn left at the R711/2 Golden Gate & Clarens sign, then follow this road for 30 kilometres
• As you pass through the “neck” of Clarens, you will see a sign board: “Mont d’Or Hotel & Conference Centre” turn right and follow the road. We are situated right next to Maluti Mountain Lodge

FROM BLOEMFONTEIN
• Follow the N1 to Winburg, turn right onto the N5 to Bethlehem
• Drive straight through Bethlehem and turn right onto the Durban road - N5
• About 5 km out of Bethlehem, turn right onto the Clarens/Golden Gate road (R712)
• Travel for about 35 km to Clarens
• The Hotel is situated on your right hand side
