Conveniently located close to the N2, Mongoose Manor is a colonial homestead offering five en-suite bedrooms with private entrances. The extensive use of rare yellowwood in the construction of Mongoose Manor lends a unique grace and character to the homestead.

Owner run and managed ensures attention to detail and a level of service that we are sure you will enjoy. Mongoose Manor offers a relaxed atmosphere with quality rooms, beds and friendly assistance. Shopping centres are five minutes away and the nearest beach is 15 minutes away. Spanish is spoken and we get by in Portuguese.

The owners are well travelled and in a unique position to ensure that overseas guests make the most of their time in Port Elizabeth and on the Garden Route. The bed and breakfast offers an ideal stop over point for travel to and from Cape Town and the Garden Route.

ACCOMMODATION


Rooms have views onto the garden or courtyard and are serviced daily. All have small safes installed, mini bars, TV and have off street parking. Some rooms have limited self-catering facilities with a kitchenette including a fridge, microwave, toaster and crockery.

Mongoose Manor prides itself in providing guests with scrumptious traditional South African breakfast, consisting of only the finest and freshest ingredients. Enjoy a cooked or a Continental breakfast with a variety of the fruits, cereals and yogurt. A room tray can be provided for early departures.

FACILITIES


• Fully licensed bar on the premises. Pinky’s bar offers a welcome spot to discuss the day’s activities or to watch an 'important' game on the TV while enjoying a drink. Open from 5pm to 7pm.

Location


The Manor, with its parkland setting is an ideal place for local and overseas visitors alike. It is difficult to imagine that you are only ten minutes away from the centre of town. Yet, the location allows for easy access to the many attractions in the area: from playing golf at Port Elizabeth Golf Club or deep sea fishing or yachting, to dining out.
