About Marrick Safari
Nestled in 3000 hectares of unspoilt savannah thornveld close to Kimberley, Marrick Safari can be found. Vast expanses of space and silence provide endless opportunities for returning to nature. The cottages are all fully equipped for self-catering purposes. Meals can be catered for on request. This room has a double bed, a single bed, air-con and own bathroom with a bath.
Honeymoon Suite (Sleeps 2):
Our superior Honeymoon Suite situated within the guest house includes an en-suite bathroom and is ideally suited to that romantic weekend away, or the perfect complement to your wedding on Marrick Safari.
Guinea Fowl Cottage (Sleeps 8):
The cottage has 3 en-suite bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The third bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds. There is also a lounge and kitchen.
Impala Cottage (Sleeps 10):
The cottage has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and an en-suite. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The third bedroom has a single bed,. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds and the fifth bedroom has a single bed. There is a kitchen, open plan lounge, lapa and braai facilities.
Hunter's Cottage (Sleeps 6):
This cottage has two air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 4 single beds. There is a lounge, kitchen, boma and braai facilities.
Country Cottage (Sleeps 8-10):
The cottage has 3 Bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed. The second and third bedroom both have 3 single beds with the addition of a sleeper couch in the third bedroom. There is a kitchen, dining room and lounge.
Guided 4x4 game drives are hugely rewarding with large herds of indigenous antelope to be viewed in their natural habitat. Join the early morning drive and enjoy a delicious buffet style breakfast in the bush. The area is well known amongst bird lovers and a wide variety of bird life, including birds endemic to the area, can be spotted here.
Sunsets at Marrick are magical and there is nothing more relaxing after a hot day in the bush than sipping an ice cold drink next to the pan. Enjoy dinnertime around an open fire while chatting to friends and other guests before retiring to your luxurious cottage for a good night's rest.
