I have been staying at Malan's for years whenever I am either holidaying in the Cape or am on business. I have never had less that 100% service and friendliness. The rooms are perfect and the extra finishing touches of sherry and a biscuit and a fridge supplied with milk, tea and coffee etc are very welcoming. As for the breakfast - huge range to chose from and perfectly cooked and served by Laetitia herself.
We've stayed at Malans Guest House several times and it's always like coming home. It's a place of great hospitality, you'll get delicous breakfast with a superb porridge. It's like living in a museum, where the antiques are polished every day. You can relax at the pool and enjoy your coffee or tea. We will come back as soon as possible.
The guest house is perfectly situated in a quiet cul de sac but within easy walking distance of the town centre, restaurants and shops. The house is beautifully presented and furnished with antiques. The swimming pool was exceptionally welcome after a hot day exploring the area. The welcome was warm and professional and the food excellent.
Enjoyed my stay there. Found the host to become friendlier when I spoke in Afrikaans.
Lovely guesthouse with wonderful hosts! Set in great tranquil and quiet setting, and yet only minutes away from the busy city centre of Stellenbosch.
Would definately recommend Malans Guest House.
