Makhato Bush Lodge No 15 is a privately owned luxury holiday and weekender home situated in the malaria free greater Sondela Nature Reserve, Limpopo Province.

Just 90 minutes away from Johannesburg International Airport and 10km east of Bela Bela, Makhato Bush Lodge 15 offers you an escape to peace, tranquility and close contact with nature.

Self Catering Accommodation

This luxurious, self-catering thatched roof lodge with its spacious interior offers accommodation for up to eight guests. It consists of three downstairs en-suite bedrooms of which two have king size build-in beds and one has two single built-in beds. Upstairs is the fourth en-suite bedroom with its own balcony overlooking the bushveld plains.

The kitchen with granite top has a scullery and is equipped with two fridge / freezers combinations; glass top stove, oven, washing machine, dish washer and microwave oven.

In the open plan dining room is an eight seater dining room table. The separate entertainment area / lapa consists of a built in barbeque / braai, a corner bar counter with eight bar stools, ice machine, under counter bar fridge, 42" plasma TV, hotel bouquet DStv, hi-fi / CD player and DVD player.

Between the lodge and the entertainment area is an outside barbeque area with eight luxury patio chairs. This area is great for star gazing, bird watching and seeing antelope graze close to the lodge.

The lodge is serviced daily at a nominal extra. It is fully equipped with kitchenware, bedding and bath towels. Within walking distance from the lodge is a hot and a cold swimming pool, a communal lapa with built-in barbeque/braai and an open air barbeque / braai available to our guests at no cost or prior arrangement.
