About Makarios on Sea
In the heart of South Africa's Garden Route in the Southern Cape area, you will find the picturesque little village of Herold's Bay. Makarios at Herold's Bay offers you only the best in self-catering accommodation to enjoy an unforgettable beach holiday in Africa.
Five different types of accommodation is offered as a central point from where you can explore the unbelievable scenery and activities of the Garden Route - all within 60 kilometers from Herold's Bay. Herold's Bay is approximately 15km from George and 10km from George Airport.
Each of the units enjoys a magnificent view of the beach and/or ocean from the balcony or bedroom. All bedrooms are en suite. An electronic safe is available in each unit as well as a personal alarm system, controlled by the occupant. Underfloor heating and fans have been installed in bedrooms (fans) and bathrooms (heating).
Sandpiper and Seahorse (sleeps two):
Luxury Junior Suite with a full kitchen.
Seagull and Dolphin (sleeps four):
Luxury one bedroom suite with a full kitchen.
Whale and Seagull & Seahorse (combined with sound proof doors):
Luxury two bedroom suite with a full kitchen. Both units sleep 6.
Nautilus (sleeps two):
Room only with full bathroom. This room does not have a TV or a kitchen. There is no view.
