Liziwe’s Guest House is a recently established Guest House in Guguletu. The Guest house first opened its doors in mid December 2005 and has been a great success. Liziwe is a member of Cape Town Tourism and Chamber of Commerce. About Liziwe's Guest HouseLiziwe Ngcokoto is the owner of Liziwe's Guest House. Before the establishment of the house she bought the plot, lived in a shack on the plot for five years in Guguletu and then decided to build a house. Together with her husband, they worked towards building their home and decided to extend their home into a welcoming Guest House. “My husband and I have come a long way, from staying in a shack on the plot and receiving a donation of bricks from Sappi Craft where my husband has been working for 25 years. He would come home and clean bricks, and today that has paid off, we have beautiful walls and a home that we decided to turn into a Guest house, This has been a thrilling and exciting journey for us,” says Liziwe. This business minded women has come a long way and now owns a beautiful Guest House that is well recognized, both nationally and internationally. Liziwe has also established a restaurant at her guest house for both the local and international market to come and savour the taste of traditional African cuisine and ambience. The restaurant caters for fifty people and has been well received. AccommodationLiziwe’s Guest House offers a choice of four bedrooms, each room is proudly decorated with a simple and tasteful touch of African decor and comes with satellite television, 3 bedrooms come with en-suites and one of the rooms on the premises is a self-catering cottage. RestaurantIf you want a taste of something different in Cape Town, Liziwe’s Guest House is more than happy to oblige, with delicious African meals in our restaurant. You can phone and book for lunch and dinner - and we also do breakfast (breakfast is primarily for the Guest House guests). Additional Facilities• We offer a full breakfast served in our spacious dining room or in our beautiful garden. • Other facilities include a private lounge, a fully equipped, self catering, enclosed entertainment and braai (barbecue) area. • We cater for Conferences and Weddings in our restaurant (for up to 50 guests).
