Nestled in the Northern Free State this unique guest lodge offers an unforgettable experience. Prepare to be pampered in style at the luxurious 3 star Lekoa Lodge that can accommodate up to 104 guests in self catering chalets.

Accommodation

This country style accommodation offers 10 single chalets (can sleep up to four guests in each) which consists of one bedroom with two single beds and a double sleeper couch and a full bathroom.

There are also eight double storey chalets (can sleep up to 8 guests) which consists of a loft and two bedrooms with two single beds in each and a double sleeper couch in the lounge with two bathrooms. All the chalets have braai facilities, under floor heating and are serviced daily. Kitchens are equipped with microwave, two plate stove, kettle, fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Linen and towels are supplied. Televisions and DSTV are available in each chalet but guests need to bring their own smart cards.

Dining

The creations of the executive chef and a la carte menu makes the on-site restaurant a must! The restaurant is open for three meals per day although 24 hours advanced bookings are essential. Inside the restaurant there is also a fully licensed bar and a heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi. A fireplace provides a wonderfully warm atmosphere in winter.

Weddings

Lekoa Lodge has a beautiful chapel that can seat 120 guests. The large reception hall can host up to 160 guests and tables and chairs are provided. A cash bar is available in the hall as well as a large, laminated wooden dance floor.

Conferences

There are conferencing facilities for 34 delegates in the smaller venue and the reception hall can host up to 180 delegates for larger groups.

Activities and Attractions

The unspoiled fauna and flora are but a small attraction in this fabulous malaria free area. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, an intimate wedding or a corporate getaway, Lekoa Lodge will host you in absolute style. Activities include game drives, hunting trips, clay pigeon shooting, bird watching, fishing and paint ball.

Lekoa Lodge is a very popular destination for quad bike enthusiasts, with more than 4000 hectares to ride on. There are three marked routes as well as a few unmarked routes. Quad South Africa makes frequent use of Lekoa Lodge’s facilities for quad biking rallies and the Can Am Team practice at Lekoa on a regular basis. The courses are ideal for any 2 or 4 wheel bikers. There is a salon on the premises and with advanced bookings massages, facials and other treatments may be enjoyed.

The lodge also has its own 1.2 km unpaved landing strip and helipad for those who would like to fly in for breakfast or for the weekend. Please email us for details regarding helicopter fly in rates.

Experienced and qualified wildlife staff at Lekoa Lodge will take you on a very special trip in the heart of Africa to see animals such as red antelope, gazelle, black wildebeest, springbuck, impala, zebras, white and brown blesbuck.
