I spent many week long sessions for around 4 years at this B and B. I was reading for a PhD at the University of Pretoria Groenkloof Campus nearby. I came from Durban. I can only recommend this accommodation in the most glowing terms. The owners are an exceptionally friendly, generous and interesting couple. I was able to spend many peaceful hours in my room and their extensive garden when I needed quiet times and when I needed some company they were there for a chat or a guided tour around their garden. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and have all facilities needed for heating up meals bought at nearby stores especially a Woolworths garage shop. There is also a selection of delightful restaurants in a centre nearby. The B and B offers a cooked breakfast of ones choice, accompanied always by a bowl of fresh chopped fruit, muesli and yoghurt. Real coffee is also available for breakfast and tea and coffee is on offer in the rooms. This B and B with its nature reserve behind it and its magnificent day and night views of Pretoria, too magnificent for words in the jacaranda tree season, became like a home to me. I still think of it as one of my homes and its owners as near family to me. I could not have been luckier than to have found it.
