AccommodationLa Petite Vigne’s five bedrooms are named after some of the towns and areas from which the French Huguenot refugees, the brave founders of Franschhoek, came, Saxony, Fontenay, Provence, Normandy and Brittany. Each room has individual character and guest comfort and pleasure is top of our list. BreakfastEnjoy a breakfast of fruit juices, muesli and cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheeses, fresh bread and preserves produced in the valley, a hot English breakfast and aromatic coffee and tea. Breakfast is served in the sunny dining room with the choice of al fresco in summer. Get stressed playing some vicious croquet, be mean on the boules court and then de-stress at the pool after this grueling time, with a drink in hand from the honesty bar! WineryLa Petite Vigne is a working vineyard and winery and we would be delighted to show you the workings of a boutique winery and arrange a tasting of the wine produced on the farm under the La Petite Vigne label. LocationLa Petite Vigne is located in a lovely spot in Franschhoek with a good vantage over the valley. Further up Uitkyk Street where we are situated, are the Dieu Donne and Chamonix wine farms, both of which have superb restaurants with fabulous views. We are a 10 minute walk and a 2-minute drive from the centre of the village. The guest house is well positioned for experiencing Franschhoek village life and for exploring the greater region including the towns of Stellenbosch, Hermanus, Pniel, Paarl and Wellington and their environs.
