Situated in the Cradle of Humankind, La Montagne Guest Lodge is approximately 40 km from Randburg, Brits and Pretoria. Decorated with African Artifacts this 4 star lodge has amazing views of the Magaliesburg Mountain range and Hartbeespoort Dam. We offer various facilities ranging from conferencing, team building and accommodation to weddings and functions. We also have a restaurant, tea garden and beauty salon.

Accommodation

Accommodation consists of eight luxury lodge rooms and 10 luxury tents sleeping 18 single or 38 sharing. The eight luxury lodge rooms have king size beds, air-conditioning, mini bar fridge, 4 channel satellite television, tea-coffee facilities and all bath rooms are en-suite. The honeymoon suite has its own private deck with Jacuzzi as well as a spa bath.

The executive suite consists of a fully equipped kitchen and big screen TV with own private deck. The luxury tents are all built on decks with excellent views, all have bath rooms on suite with spa baths, showers, king size beds mini bar fridge, braai facilities, air-conditioning, four channel satellite TV and tea-coffee facilities.

Loungers are positioned around and close to the two swimming pools which are available for use by residents. Two wooden decks overlook the dam and mountains and are also available for function settings.

Dining

The open air restaurant and tea garden is open to day visitors. The restaurant serves a la carte dishes and the tea garden serves light lunches and delectable cakes, tarts and pastries. Illy coffees, cappuccinos and espressos are the flavour of the day.

Facilities and Services

A fully equipped bar and wine cellar (which hosts a good selection of wines) is available to day visitors and residents. Big screen television is available on the patio during sport events or when hosting a function. Teambuilding, DJ’s and live music can be organized. A great favourite is the “Murder Mystery Dinner” evening. There is a pony play school on site (a favorite with kiddies). They host kid’s birthday parties, school holiday camps and daily lessons.

Conferences

The executive conference centre seats up to 20 delegates, fully equipped with proxy, two white boards, overhead projector, air-conditioning and surround sound. Stationery, water and cordials are supplied to all delegates. Luxury padded leather executive seating set in a beautifully designed area. The conference table is designed boardroom style from Rose wood with mock elephant tusk supports.

Salon

The salon provides Hot Stone and Swedish massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing. All staff are qualified and will ensure that you are treated like royalty.

Weddings

The wedding venue is under 330 m2 of thatch and seats up to 120 people. A well equipped bar is available as well as a buffet area. This facility can also be used for conferencing for large groups. The view is ideal for those photographic memories.

Activities

Activities such as paintball, quad biking, archery, fishing, abseiling, river rafting, hot air ballooning and game drives are all within 15 minutes traveling distance. We are five minutes away from Peacanwood Golf Estate and 15 minutes from Magaliespark Golf Course. Look out for our inflated tea cup on the side of the road before Pecanwood Golf Estate.
