Amazing private game lodge in a fantastic location we were greeted on arrival with hot towels and champagne. The service and food was amazing and our two day stay here was the highlight of our 12 day trip to south africa. The morning and evening safari drives were excellent, and our ranger Rian was extremely knowledgeable and interesting and kept us entertained with stories and anecdotes of the local wildlife which inspired a real interest in the animals and wildlife. We saw all of the Big Five animals except the elusive leopard, and the ranger went out of his way to make sure we got up close to elephants, lions, black rhino, cheetah, buffalo, scores of antelope, wildebeast, springboks, kudu and elan. The rooms were excellent with amazing views over addo park. The only fault we could find was the WiFi was not working in the rooms, but this helped us enjoy the stay even more as we switched off the mobiles and relaxed in the safari. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. A truly memorable stay in a place I would recommend to all our friends. Thanks Kazuko for the best two days which we hope to extend next time we are in south africa. |
