Bask in the sun on the pristine white beaches of Port Alfred or partake in one of the many activities on offer, deep sea fishing, angling, scuba diving, surfing, sand boarding, canoeing, horse trails, bird watching trails or golf. The famous Royal Port Alfred Golf Course is a mere 2km away and shops and restaurants are a 2 minute drive. This area is malaria free and there are many internationally acclaimed game reserves in the vicinity, some home to the Big 5. The fascinating and quaint little town of Bathurst, around which the English 1820 Settler story is centered, is only 10km away. Grahamstown, rich in heritage, is 50km away. The Kowie River which runs through the town is approximately 20 km long and provides an ideal venue for boating and waterskiing.
