Play golf at the delightful Kleinmond Golf Course, or visit the Arabella Golf Estate which has one of the best courses in the country (rated 6th) and boasts a Sheraton Hotel, with wellness centre, rated as one of the best hotels in the world. There are 4 tennis courts across the road, and very popular bowling greens next to it. Nearby hiking trails have views you can only dream of. Visit the casino at Caledon, with spa and centuries old mineral baths; botanical gardens; penguin colony; bird sanctuary; the picture perfect old towns of Greyton and Genadendal. A round trip of 195km will take you to the heart of the Cape Winelands through Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, and back along a most scenic marine / mountain drive, with lots of time to taste wine, dine and take pictures.
