We are a four star TGCSA graded Guesthouse in Umhlanga with beautiful sea views set in a tranquil setting, close to the village and Gateway.

Accommodation

We have six Standard rooms with en-suites, one Family suite, a Honeymoon suite and a Penthouse. There is free WiFi throughout the Guesthouse.

Standard Rooms:
The standard rooms with en-suites all have their own air-con, DStv, fridges and tea / coffee facilities with fresh milk. Some have bath and shower and some shower only.

Family Suite:
The family suite has two separate rooms, each with queen bed (two singles can be arranged) en-suite with shower and toilet. It also has its own lounge and fully equipped kitchen. Ideal for a family of four. It can be booked as self catering rates or including breakfast.

Honeymoon Suite:
The Honeymoon Suite with spa bath and shower has its own air-con, DStv, fridge and tea / coffee facilities. The sea can be seen while lying on the bed.

Penthouse:
The Penthouse has panoramic sea views from Durban harbour right around to Umhlodti. It has an en-suite with shower and Victorian bath. It has its own lounge area and dining room / boardroom table. It has a large balcony with sun beds and tables and chairs, ideal for catching a tan in private. There is also a fully equipped granite kitchen with dishwasher and ice making fridge. It has its own air-con and DStv.

There is ample room for two singles, or another double, perfect for a family of four. It can be booked as a self catering unit or including breakfast.

Dining

The Guesthouse has a dining room and lounge area with big screen TV. This area leads out onto a large patio with beautiful views of the ships on the Ocean and is ideal for breakfast in the morning or for drinks in the evening.

Facilities

This area overlooks the large swimming pool. There are braai facilities which can be used in several locations around the garden. There are full bar facilities on the premises available 24 hours. We provide a laundry service and items washed and ironed will be back latest the next day. There is plenty of room for safe parking, including a car port for three motor cars.

Attractions

There are several world class golf courses in close proximity namely Durban Country Club, Beachwood, Zimbali, Princes Grant, Mt Edgecombe, Royal Durban, and Umhlali.

We can arrange tee off times for guests and arrange outings for spouses. Deep sea fishing can be arranged with Casea Charters who are extremely experienced in this area. Hluluhle Game Reserve is a two and a half hour drive away where the Big Five can be seen. There are numerous day trips to Valley of Thousand Hills, Crocodile farm, Lion Park, etc. Ushaka Marine World in the City of Durban is a fifteen minute drive away and Moses Mabhide Stadium is a ten minute Drive.
