I just got back from a misson trip that I and 45 others from Alabama took to Mpumalanga, South Africa. The trip overall was amazing but The Karula Hotel staff went BEYOND normal. If you are thinking about staying at The Karula, then DO IT!!!! And then do it again! It will be the best stay that you have ever experienced. The staff knew that we were from the United States and they actually bought hashbrowns special for us. The hospitality is unreal. Breakfast is stacked with three different sorts of cereal to choose from, hot toast right out of the toaster with strawberry jelly, crispy or soft bacon, (YOUR CHOICE), scrambled or sunny-side up eggs, and Mango juice, Orange juice, or water to drink. Dinner is an 8 course meal that will change your food life as you know it. OH, and TRY THE ROOIBOS TEA!!!! THE BEST EVER!

You just dont get hotels like this anymore. Quality personable service from Chandy and her staff. True country hospitality in every way.

Very warm hospitality received by hotel staff and management. Excellent service. Conveniently located near the central business district.
