About Karoo Nights

Karoo Nights offers bed & breakfast and self catering accommodation on a working farm in Venterstad. Karoo Nights Country Inn is located off the R58, between Colesberg and Venterstad, in the Gariep Dam area.

While here you can enjoy total peace and tranquillity and spend your days taking a stroll down to the reservoir to watch the water birds, cycling on the farm roads, exploring the game reserves and stargazing at night.

Accommodation

This Venterstad accommodation comprises en-suite rooms or spacious self-catering units. Each room and the units are equipped with fans, tea and coffee making facilities as well as en-suite shower and baths in the bathrooms. Please see the individual room and unit descriptions below, with photos, to assist you with your choice.

Breakfast & Dining

Breakfast and dinner can be arranged, by prior arrangement at an additional fee. Outside there is an undercover braai area which guests are welcome to use and braai packs are available to purchase.

The guest house has a communal TV lounge in the main building, a licensed bar area and pool table for your entertainment. A fireplace in lounge and bar area is available in the winter months. An old-fashioned farm dam is available to cool off and there are gravel tennis courts for guests to use. Safe undercover parking is provided for your vehicle.
