Kambrokind Guest House is a B&B with self catering option, providing accommodation in Sutherland for tourists visiting the Upper Karoo region.
About Kambrokind Guest House
In Sutherland's main road you will find Kambrokind Guest House. This historical town was established in 1855 and consists mainly of three large shops, one service station, butcher, farmers co-op, two schools and one bank (Standard Bank). All basic products can be bought locally. The newspaper of the day is only available in the late afternoon due to the distance from the cities.
This incredibly peaceful and beautiful town is the ultimate relaxation destination and ideal to get away from it all and take a safari in the sky.
Accommodation
Six en-suite rooms are available at Kambrokind of which one is a self-catering unit called 'The Family Room'. A sheltered outside braai (BBQ), 'Die Tolhuis' with microwave, selected DStv, cutlery and crockery is also available to all our guests. Electric blankets and heaters are provided in winter and of course for the odd cold evening in summer.
