I have just enjoyed one of my best weekends EVER staying with friends at the Cottage on Jackalberry Farm. The accommodation is great and Hans is very welcoming and very professional in every respect. Located on the banks of the Sabie River, the environment is outstanding and we all enjoyed exploring the river banks, sitting on huge boulders in the river and observing hundreds of fish . . .we also went searching for hippo and found clear evidence of their activity all the river banks but no sightings this time. We will definitely return !

I booked a short stay when my family arrived from France to see the Panarama route. The warm welcom we recieved set the mood for the whole stay. The surroundings were astounding. All the staff were extremely helpfull yet left you in complete privacy. The facilities both in the rondavel and on the site left us needing nothing and able to enjoy our trip. Thanks to Hans, his invaluable information and direction for travelling the panarama route made the days trip worthwhile. We all look forward to seeing you again and will certainly be spreading the word of the best place to stay in Hazyview. See you soon.

My son and I booked a stay at the farm purely by chance, on arrival the bumpy road access made us wonder if we had done the right thing. When we reached the farm it was obvious that we had, the welcome, views and accomodations were second to none. I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, and have never had such a pleasant and relaxing stay. Overall, the farm is an oasis of tranqility, pleasantly welcoming and the food is superb. When next in SA, we will definately be booking a longer stay. We wish you all success for the future, and we WILL meet again.

We stayed at Jackalberry in Nov.2003 for about 5 days. Everything was first class..Hans and Christine could not have been better hosts. Loved their rondavel type cottages. We're currently negotiating a return visit in spring 2009. Car essential.
