About Ivemvane

Ivemvane Mountain Lodge is exclusive and fully equipped offering accommodation in the heart of the malaria-free Waterberg Mountains.

Less than three hours drive from Johannesburg, Ivemvane is situated in over 1300ha of natural splendour; with mountain bike, 4x4 and hiking trails begging to be explored.

There is a variety of wildlife (including eland, kudu, waterbuck, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, bushbuck, zebra, impala, blesbuck, duiker, warthog, bushpig, monkeys and baboons, a variety of birds, trees and insects as well as occasional sightings of the more elusive species) to be encountered along the way.

We supply a roadmap on arrival and encourage you to explore at your leisure. There are plenty of photographic opportunities in a place that time seems to have forgotten.

Self Catering Accommodation

Ivemvane Mountain Lodge is situated on the mountain top with spectacular views of both sunrise and sunsets, with a view across the rim-flow swimming pool over the bushveld and mountains beyond.

It has three en-suite rooms with a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and open plan lounge dining area.

There is a fire pit and braai (BBQ) area and a separate scullery (including dishwasher).

The lodge is serviced daily. Kitchens are equipped with all crockery and cutlery, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee plunger and toaster. All linen and bath towels supplied. All rooms have ceiling fans. Catering arranged on request.

A vehicle with clearance, preferably a 4x4 is necessary to access the lodge and most of the farm.
