About Hide-Away Guest House

Knysna, as a destination, is a must for all those travelling along the Garden Route. The town itself is delightful and provides tourists with many things to do.

We encourage our guests to make Knysna their base as we are ideally situated for short day trips to Tsitsikamma National Park, Plettenberg Bay (and surrounds), Wilderness, George and Oudtshoorn.

Hide-Away Guest House, located on the main road into Knysna, is a beautiful Cape Colonial property set opposite the Knysna Lagoon with great views of the Knysna Heads and is a 15 minute walk into either town or the Waterfront.

We have seven well-appointed en-suite rooms ranging from Executive with lagoon view to Standard with no lagoon view and therefore cater for most budgets.

ACCOMMODATION

Two Executive Rooms located on the ground floor and three Superior Rooms on the first floor offer spectacular views of the Knysna Lagoon and Heads. Breakfast is served on the verandah outside your room (weather permitting).

Two additional Superior Rooms are located in the Main House with breakfast served either in the dining room or on the verandah (weather permitting).

ROOM FACILITIES

All rooms have been tastefully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms with shower, TV (DStv), mini bar, complimentary tea / coffee tray, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, heater, electric blanket (in winter), mini safe, clock radio and gowns.

Complimentary wireless internet is available in all rooms and public areas. Laundry on request. In addition, guests have the use of a swimming pool and small gym.
