Heron's Gasthof is a supremely well-appointed Bed and Breakfast in Knysna, situated in a select, secluded area away from traffic. Four minutes drive from all the amenities of Knysna centre and Waterfront and one kilometre from the beautiful Knysna Golf course. ACCOMMODATION:Rooms are all en-suite, each with it´s own entrance and private patio or balcony to guarantee complete privacy. HONEYMOON & FAMILY SUITES:The Bridal Suites are the ideal setting for a blissful honeymoon, whereas the Family Suite provides for guests who prefer self-catering. In all, there are seven rooms, catering for 16 guests at a time. BREAKFAST:A hearty breakfast (English or Continental) can be enjoyed in the lovely dining room, overlooking the garden and shading pool, to a stunning view of Knysna Lagoon and the famous Knysna Heads. FACILITIES:After a enjoyable day visiting the Knysna Village, or perhaps a train ride on the famous Knysna Outeniqua "Choo-Tjoe" steam train, find yourself relaxing next to the pool. The self-service bar can be visited to fetch that thirst quenching drink. After a relaxing shower, you can watch the sunset from the spacious and comfortable lounge area, whilst sipping a sundowner.
