About Hermanus Heights Villa
Hermanus Heights Villa is located in a quiet area of Hermanus but close to restaurants and shopping areas. The fully equipped modern house has wonderful views over Walker Bay and is comfortably furnished to sleep four to eight people. The house can be used as a whole or as 2 separate units, sleeping 4 each.
Self Catering Accommodation
The lower level consists of two bathrooms, one with a bath, basin toilet and the other a shower, basin, toilet. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other room two single beds.
The upper level has two bathrooms, each consisting of shower, basin and toilet. The main bedroom contains a king-size double bed and the other bedroom, two single beds.
The upper level of the house is extremely wheelchair friendly. One of the bathrooms has a “roll-in” shower (no threshold) with support bars at the shower. There are no steps and there is ample space to maneuver in a wheelchair throughout the building.
Amenities
Well appointed, house amenities include an automatic washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and upright freezer as well as an indoor barbeque / braai area. The lower level has a kitchenette with microwave, small fridge / freezer and a mini stove / oven.
Both units have Dtv (satellite TV). All linen and towels are supplied.
The double garage has remote control doors and a secure, covered walkway connecting the garage to the house.
The Area
Hermanus is known for its whale watching during whale season Aug to Nov. The cliffs offer a scenic Coastal cliff walk. Ideal for viewing the scenery, whales, birds and fynbos. The Fernkloof nature reserve has short to long walks / hikes with stunning views over Walker Bay and fynbos. Hermanus has many different beaches and an old and new harbour worth a visit.
The town offers many art galleries, markets, restaurants and shopping. There is a museum including information about whales, sharks and the history of the town. The Hemel and Aarde valley is popular for its wine and unique wine cellars. Interesting towns to visit include Kleinmond, Gansbaai (Shark Cage diving) and Grabouw (Cape Canopy Tour).
