About Hardeveld Lodge
Hardeveld Lodge is a small lodge managed by the owners Kobus and Fey (who have been in the tourism industry since 1986). This Lodge is ideally situated on the N7 route between Cape Town and Namibia, 360 km north of CapeTown in the charming little village called Nuwerus.
It is the perfect stop over between Namibia and Cape Town, a base from which to explore the wonders of the area or for those working in the area to stay. or for that week-end getaway.
Accommodation
The lodge offers Self Catering, Bed and Breakfast and Dinner, Bed and Breakfast options. Breakfast and dinner times are flexible as well as arrival and departure times. We are pet friendly.
The Nest:
The Nest sleeps max 2 people. The Nest has one bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with large bath. Air conditioner & heater. TV with DStv (Hotel Package). Coffee making facility.
Guest House:
Sleep max 6 people in two bedrooms with three single beds in each room. Fully self contained kitchen. Separate toiler and shower. The lodge Dining room. TV in one room with DStv (Hotel package). Heaters in both rooms.
Home Room (pet friendly):
Unit sleeps 2 (can add sleeper couch). Fully equipped kitchenette. Shower toilet and basin. Table and chairs. TV with DStv. Heater. Fully enclosed yard with own braai facility.
Home Family Room (pet friendly):
Unit sleeps 4 people (can add sleeper couch). Main bedroom with double bed, built in cupboard, couch, shower toilet and basin. 2nd room has two single beds, a table and chairs and a self contained kitchenette. Heaters in both rooms. TV with DStv (hotel package). Fully enclosed yard with own built in braai.
Home Double Room:
Sleeps max 2 people. Room with a double bed. Open plan bath with movable screen, basin and toilet behind wall. Table and chairs. Coffee making facility. Heater.

Walking is the best way to discover small jewels of plants sheltering between taller plants and rocks, and will reward the photographer.

Simple but functional and clean accommodation. Without luxury, but with everything you need for a quiet, restful night. The area is fenced and from the outside no one sees that guests live here. You can park in the courtyard between the buildings. The garden is planted with various succulents. There is also a small pool and a common room, with TV and a large DVD collection.
