About Gulu Private Resort
Situated on the R72 Coastal Road, a stone’s throw away from East London Airport, Gulu Private Resort has everything a traveller needs, there’s great fishing, wildlife, walkways and long beaches. There are activities like swimming, horse riding, surfing and canoeing. But it doesn’t end there; off the beaten track, you’ll find abundant cultural heritage, rare exotic bird life and if you’re lucky, some of the Big 5.
Some places have great rivers; some have outstanding beaches while others have waterfalls and mountains. Some things are constant however; lush forests, tropical climates and majestic sunrises and sunsets. A great way to see the coastline from a different perspective is from the sea, booking essential. In doing so, you’ll also get sight of the many whales and an abundance of dolphins common to the area. There are so many things that will really impress you, like the discovery of the Coelacanth in 1938 in the Chalumna River, now being displayed in the East London museum.
