About Gourikwa Reserve
Gourikwa Private Nature Reserve is situated along the Garden Route, world renowned for its breathtaking coastline. It is well known for its incredible beauty and abundant biodiversity.
Located halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, Gourikwa Reserve is easily accessible via George Airport and the N2 (national road).
While here you are welcome to make use of the pool clubhouse and braai facilities.
The Fisherman houses are secluded two bedroom, 1Ĺ bathroom units with a wonderful fireplace and fully stocked kitchenette.
Each unit has one bedroom with a King-size bed and a second twin bedroom. The verandas have a built in braai. These cottages can accommodate four guests each.
The lodges are only 40 meters from the high water mark and each of the units have uninterrupted sea views. Each unit has 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a kitchenette with a spacious living room and an under cover veranda.
Gourikwa Villa Single Rooms:
Each room has a bedroom with an open plan living area, wifi, DStv and a bathroom with both a shower and a bath. There are kitchen facilities, a medium sized fridge and coffee station.Patio furniture is available for guests wanting to sit outside as well as a mobile braai which guests are more than welcome to make use of.
Activities and Attractions
Gourikwa Reserve offers breathtaking scenic routes that can be used for hiking as well as mountain biking. Two world-renowned golf courses; The Links at Fancourt (George) and Pinnacle Point (Mossel Bay), are within a 60 minute drive by car. Helicopter transfers can easily be arranged.
Along the Garden Route you have access to The Garden Route National Park, shark cage diving, deep sea fishing, bungee jumping, hiking the infamous Otter Trail and whale watching, to name a few local attractions.
