Two stylish self-catering units tucked away in a forested area on the edge of Hilton village in the Natal Midlands, 10 minutes from Pietermaritzburg and at the beginning of the Midlands Meander. Glengarth House is located in possibly the most serene area of Hilton, yet is only a few minutes drive from a SuperSpar, Woolworths Food and a selection of restaurants and shops. Glengarth House is an ideal venue for business people working in Pietermaritzburg, but wishing to escape to a quiet location at then end of a busy day; parents visiting children at schools in Hilton or Pietermaritzburg; groups of friends attending sporting events in the area and families looking for an exceptionally comfortable base from which to explore the many attractions of the Natal Midlands. AccommodationSet in a large peaceful garden with indigenous trees and abundant birdlife, each unit has French doors which open onto its own secluded patio and fenced garden area with braai / BBQ facilities. Both units have quality bed linen, white towels, electric blankets, ceiling fans and heaters and are equipped with a selection of tourist information, magazines, novels and DVD’s. Secure parking via electronic access. There is a 10m x 5m pool and a large rambling garden which is frequented by wildlife such as bush buck, bush pig and porcupine. Two-bedroom Unit (sleeps 4 adults): Consists of one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with twin beds. There is a separate open plan lounge with a dining area and fully equipped kitchen comprising a stove, microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a romantic corner bath and large modern shower. The TV has standard channels (no DSTV), video and DVD player. Magazines, novels and DVD’s are supplied. There is a secluded patio and private garden with a BBQ / braai. An extra mattress can be added for additional children. The Studio (sleeps 2 adults): This consists of a large room with double bed, lounge area with sofa, table and chairs and open plan kitchenette. Modern ensuite shower room. The kitchenette is equipped with a hob, microwave and fridge. The TV has standard channels (no DSTV) and DVD player. Magazines, novels and DVD’s are available. There is a private patio and garden area with a BBQ / braai. An extra mattress can be added for additional children. BreakfastA self-service continental breakfast can be ordered to be enjoyed in your room or on your patio (muffins, muesli, cereals, jams, cheese, fresh fruit, juice).
