Glencove Lodge is situated between Fish Hoek and Simonstown, right opposite the beach with breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains. Overlooking False Bay, it is close to shops, restaurants, hiking trails, a penguin colony, one of Cape Town's premier golf courses, cinemas and much more. Being directly across the road from the beach and tidal pool, this is the perfect place for whale-watching (in season), kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, diving, or simply lazing in the sun. It is also ideally positioned for the Argus Cycle Tour and Two Oceans Marathon. Glencove Lodge offers comfortable, self-catering accommodation where one can be assured of a relaxing holiday. AccommodationGlencove Lodge consists of two fully equipped apartments. Each apartment has two double bedrooms, but can sleep up to six people. DSTV is available in both apartments. There is a barbecue area at the swimming pool for guests to use at their leisure. All linen and pool towels are provided. Off-road parking is available and the lock-up garage can be used to store bikes. Guests enjoy breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains right on their doorstep. Harbour View Apartment This is an upstairs apartment with its own entrance and incredible sea views over False Bay. The spacious lounge and dining room overlook the bay. The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine and dryer. The cosy fire place is ideal for those chilly winter evenings. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and there is enough space for a single bed / cot to be added. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The kitchen is extremely spacious and contains all the modern amenities - automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, stove, microwave etc. Bay View Apartment This is a ground floor apartment with great sea views from the lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities - washing machine, stove, microwave. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and a door with direct access to the garden. A single bed or cot can be added to this room with space to spare. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. A door leads out to the swimming pool. The bathroom has a corner bath and separate shower cubicle. |
