About Genet House
Eighty meters from the Crocodile River, surrounded by all forms of wild life, a little gem of a private guest house is waiting to welcome you to the African bush. Genet House is 28km from the Mozambique border and close to the two Southern entrances to the Kruger National Park (Crocodile Bridge and Malalane Gate).
Perfectly situated in the middle of a wildlife estate, Jap and Bev welcome you to their private home and settle you in to experience South African hospitality at its best. Here you are able to enjoy personal attention amongst wildlife 24 hours a day - during your safari trips to the Kruger Park, as well as when you’re relaxing at “home” at Genet House.
At Genet House each beautifully decorated bedroom provides sophistication and romance, each with its own spacious en-suite bathroom and free standing shower. Crisp, luxurious (percale) linen completes the picture. Travel shampoo, soap, conditioner and body lotion are standard with the room.
The Kingfisher Room consists of a single bed, fan and heater, hair dryer, shared bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin.
The Wildebeest Room consists of a double bed, fan and heater, hair dryer, en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and hand basin.
The Lion Room consists of a queen size bed, canopy mosquito net, hair dryer, air-conditioner and heating, full bathroom, en-suite, with a corner bath, shower, toilet and hand basin.
