About Geduld

Geduld has a farmhouse feel to its layout and setting. Large covered stoeps face east and north over farmlands and the lazy pace of the Karoo. Enjoy the scenic views to the Swartberg mountain range as well as countless picturesque vistas from many windows. Wake up to birdsong and the sounds of farm life.

Geduld is secluded, set in a cul de sac looking north onto a smallholding with sheep, cattle and horses quietly grazing. The garden surrounds the house with a very old large fig tree shading a braai area that allows more views over farmland to the koppies in the distance.

Self Catering Accommodation

The house is spacious and light with wooden floors. It has been very comfortably furnished and kitted out for home from home stays. It works well for large groups as the bedrooms are privately appointed.

The house sleeps 6 guests. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, of which the main is en-suite. The house can sleep six to eight people. It also has an outhouse sleeping two consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and fully kitted out kitchenette with eating area and French doors onto the garden.

There is a spacious main bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. Another two bedrooms are situated at the opposite end of the house. A second bathroom consists of large shower and bath.

The house has a nice open flow with the lounge facing east and north through many windows and French doors to the stoep and picturesque views. Comfortably furnished in a game farm style, the lounge has a wood burning stove for cold winter nights.

There is an enormous farmhouse style kitchen with dining room table seating eight people. The kitchen is very well kitted out with gas oven and stove, large fridge and freezer, microwave etc. There is a separate scullery / pantry area.

Additional Facilities

The property is fully enclosed and has off street parking. Geduld is pet friendly upon request. Tea, coffee, wood and firelighter starter pack also provided.

Location

It is a short stroll to Gay's Dairy, Lazy Lizard Café for strong coffees and fabulous meals as well as minutes from central Prince Albert.
