Exceptional stay, huge positives were high speed internet (including Netflix), daily cleaning of the unit (including dishes and drying of towels!). Our host was magnificent, she even made us supper on a Sunday evening because we only arrived after 20:00 the evening. Only minor crit is that the site lists DSTV. They do not have DSTV, but not a biggie, because they do have Netflix and high speed internet.

Shirley and Rob were really welcoming. The room and breakfasts were hearty and there was plenty to choose from . Shirley is an old school friend and she was happy to help me with anything I wanted. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the big shower. They are working on getting the place as eco friendly as possible and I applaud them for that. I would recommend staying here as It's quiet and easy to get to. My thanks to them both for a lovely stay.

Shirley and Rob really makes you feel so welcome. Exceptional warm hospitality. I enjoyed staying with them, all the little extra's like homemade cookies and rusks, really says a lot about this them. and yes, I can really recommend them as the place to visit in Pietermaritzburg.

Treatment received from Shirley and Rob is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble, breakfasts are superb and varied, rooms are extremely comfortable. Tranquil setting for relaxing. Highly recommended and we will definitely return for another visit. Thanks for making us feel so much at home.
