A beautiful gem! We had an amazing stay, everything was perfect. Excellent service and lots of tips from Mark. The most beautiful place we stayed at during our honeymoon. An escape to the beautiful Knysna forest. We will be back! Thank you Forest Valley Cottages! We loved every second and would've stayed forever if we could :)

We absolutely loved the Lavender unit for our honeymoon. So peaceful and quiet and superb interior. We had 2 kenwood filter coffee machines all to ourselves, enjoyed the DSTv, but most of all enjoyed the jacuzzi! Beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. Bath with big window and outside showed was very enjoyable. Would definitely come back. Oh and the reception lady (Marshie) was very nice and very helpful (gave us a map with all the nearby tourist attractions ect.)

Amazing! Our cottage had the most beautiful views and it is a secluded and very romantic setting. The place was spotless and they provide you with everything you need for a self catering stay. At reception, we were given information about local spots to visit. Very nice touch. The hiking trail has magical views if you are looking for a short workout. Definitely a must stay!

We stayed in the 2 bed chalet and had a wonderful time in nature with the family. The only problem we had was loads shedding, when the jacuzzi didn't function.

Although we were quite late we had very warm and friendly welcome by Mark. He also gave us some helpful advice where to find good food 😊 Our cottage is nicely situated in the woods but still in close enough to Knysna to allow daytrips. It was clean and cozy and has a breathtaking view from the veranda . Our favorite was the outdoor shower. We highly recommend a stay at the Lavender Cottage 👍.

I stayed in Lavender Edge with my husband. We had an awesome time. The cottage is beautiful, everything in excellent condition. The views will leave you breathless. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I would like to thank you and complement you on your lovely set up. The superb setting and views just made the stay nice and relaxing. I would have preferred to thank you in person but our timing was out.

Excellent accommodation - perfect for weekend get away. Stunning forest views with everything you need including fire place, jacuzi, braai and breakfast delivered at your door! Mark was a very good host and really went the extra mile to make our visit special.

Good morning Mark I great big thank you firstly. It feels like I have had a three week rest! I want to compliment on the cottage facilities. I have been all over between here, Oudtshoorn up to Langebaan – and the Jacuzzi bath is the cherry on top. The fact that you DStv facilities with radio and dvd, braai area and utensils and an amazing shower makes you one of the best stays I have visited over the last few months. And then not to forget the amazing view as the sun creeps over the hills towards Forest Valley in the AM. Other than that, 150%. Thank you.

Hi Mark & Colleen Everything your clients say is true. In 2007 my then boyfriend and now husband took me for a weekend to Forest Valley. I fell in love with the place instantly.We visited it 3 times after that. Recommended it to friends of ours. Who was very,very impressed!!!! 1.The views from the deck is amazing. 2.The privacy is great! 3.All the cottages is neat and tidy. 4.You and your staff are very friendly.
