Robertson is located in The Heart of Route 62, the longest wine route in the world which stretches all the way from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. From Cape Town it’s an easy 1.5 hrs drive via Paarl and Worcester. Robertson Tourist Bureau is situated on Voortrekker Street, which is the R60 between Worcester and Swellendam. From Cape Town: Take the N1 to Worcester. Turn into Worcester and follow the sign posting to Robertson. Pass through Robertson and continue past the circle. About 10km beyond the circle, there will be a right turn to Bonnievale, turn right here. Once across the railway line continue for another 3km (you will pass a school and cottages on your left), just beyond this turn left into Excelsior.
From Swellendam (N2): From the N2 at Swellendam turn Left at the Ashton turn off. Pass through Ashton, about 7km outside of Ashton you will see a left turn to Bonnievale, turn left here. Once across the railway line continue for another 3km (you will pass a school and cottages on your left), just beyond this turn left into Excelsior.
