Evergreen Guest Suite is situated on the Tokai / Constantia Valley wine route within the prime residential country setting of ‘Swaanswyk’, an area nestled below the Constantiaberg mountain range and bordered by the Tokai forest and the Steenberg golf estate.

We are conveniently situated for golfers, wine lovers, businessmen, and local and International guests looking for something very special with some of the very best restaurants and shopping on our doorstep. Many of the Cape’s attractions, within easy travelling distance, include the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, wine estates, golf courses, False Bay beaches and the Cape Point Nature Reserve.

Accommodation

The beautifully appointed self-catering suite consists of a spacious bedroom / lounge area with sliding door opening onto a wooden deck overlooking a charming tranquil garden. A few easy steps take you down to a swimming pool and thatch Lapa with barbeque facility for your relaxation and private use.

A lovely full en-suite bathroom with separate bath & shower and a well-fitted stylish kitchen with dining table complete the suite. On request a small inter-leading bedroom adjoining the guest suite is available for a third family member.

Attractions and Activites

Some of the many nearby local attractions and day-trips include:

Golf at our local Steenberg or Westlake golf courses. A “short drive” will take you to Clovelly, Mowbray, Rondebosch, Royal Cape or King David. A “longer drive” will take you to Stellenbosch, Erinvale, De Zalze, Pearl Valley or Boschenmeer to name a few - all well-known Western Cape Golf Courses.

Wine lovers take a drive along the Constantia Valley Wine Route and visit the wine estates on our doorstep - Steenberg, Constantia Uitsig, Buitenverwachting, Klein Constantia and Groot Constantia, taste and enjoy the quality our local wines. Enjoy really good food - book at one or more of our top local restaurants - Catharinas at Steenberg, Buitenverwachting, La Colombe and Constantia Uitsig.

Shopping Centres include Steenberg, Blue Route and Constantia offering a range of clothing boutiques, jewellers, salons, restaurants and food stores etc.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens set on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora. On Sundays during the summer months from December to March musical sunset concerts are held on the lawns.

Take a leisurely mountain walk through the Tokai Forest or in the Silvermine Nature Reserve. Enjoy the sun - take an easy drive to one of the beautiful False Bay Beaches, stop in at the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and then move on to Cape Point Nature Reserve.

Not to be missed a visit to Cape Town, spend time at the V&A Waterfront, enjoy a boat ride to Robben Island or take the cableway to the top of Table Mountain and take in the view of our wonderful city and ocean.
