Evergreen Cottage is situated in Constantia, an upmarket rural suburb of Cape Town. This delightful garden cottage is the ideal place to either spend time relaxing in the beautiful private garden with mountain views or use as a base for exploring Cape Town and the surrounding areas. It is also perfect for the business man who needs to be close to the City Centre with a place to "chill out" in the evenings.

Accommodation


Accommodation is self-catering and ideally sleeps two but can accommodate an extra adult or child over 12 years on a sleeper-couch in the lounge.

Evergreen Cottage is large and airy but does also have air-conditioning if needed which also has the duel purpose of heating the cottage in the cooler months. The Cottage is completely private with its own entrance and patio. Here, one can relax on comfortable sun beds or enjoy breakfast or lunch whilst enjoying the lovely view of the beautiful garden and back of Table Mountain. There is a large sparkling swimming pool and a private upstairs deck to suntan.

The bedroom is large with either twin beds or a king-size bed and has sliding doors leading onto the patio. There is a huge shower in the bathroom and heated towel rails. The lounge also has sliding doors onto the patio – all rooms have views of garden and moutain. The cottage is fully fitted with TV, music centre, modern kitchen with stove, microwave with grill, coffee machine and all utensils.

Facilities


There is secure parking behind gates and the cottage is also burglar alarmed. Rates include complimentary WiFi connection and bottle of wine on arrival. The cottage is also serviced on weekdays and laundry can be arranged.

Activities and Attractions


Evergreen Cottage is within walking distance of the Constantia Village and the Virgin Active Gym. There are 8 wine farms in the Constantia Valley, one of which is Groot Constantia, the oldest winery in South Africa. There are excellent restaurants - many in the Top 100 Restaurant Guide.

It should be noted that Constantia is situated centrally for all the major attractions in The Cape Peninsula e.g. The Waterfront, Cape Town Central and Table Mountain are 20 minutes away, the beaches of Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and Hout Bay are a 15 minute drive, Simonstown and Boulders Beach with the penguins are a 30 minute drive, Cape Point Nature Reserve, 40 minutes and the wine routes of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are only 45 minutes away.
