Dear Willem, Madeleine & staff of El Yolo,
Despite the fact that we were only able to spend one evening with you, you have all left a lasting impression on each one of us and we thank you wholeheartedly for that.
You really went out of your way to make us welcome and to ensure that we were well-fed. The food was outstanding and the playing of the harmonica by Johan after dinner was amazing. The girls are still commenting about how wonderful it was to lie in front of the fireplace whilst listening to music.
All in all, a wonderful establishment and we will definitely return for a longer visit next time round.
Thank you again and may you all go from strength to strength in the future.
Kind regards
Troy, Michelle, Caitlyn & Hayley Smith

What a place! Lovely, beautiful location and Jaco was a great host - with good food and wine on offer plus a warm fire to stem the cold from the storm outside.
In the morning we were given a tour of the estate in the Landy to see the Baboons at the waterfall and the peacocks near Willem's house. It really is a very special place. Well worth a visit. We wish we had stayed longer and will recommend you to our friends and family. |

Nogmaals dankie vir die fantastiese naweek! Die natuurskoon en gasvryheid het bygedrae om ons ervaring van Elyolo onvergeetlik te maak!
"Enjoy life you only live once" - what more can I say of our truly unforgetable experience of Elyol One's tranquility with it's relaxed atmosphere and courteous people - a must to experience for all nature enthusiasts. During the day we were astonished by the natural and hidden beauties of the farm and by night we enjoyed the company of the fire and our proper South African "potjie" whilst gazing at the stars!
Kersgroete,
Die Oosthuizen's & Christoff |
