About Eight On Burnside
Welcome to Eight on Burnside offering superb self catering accommodation in Tamboerskloof. This comfortable, spacious and superbly furnished garden apartment situated in trendy Tamboerskloof has Table Mountain as its backdrop and is within walking distance to all of Cape Towns main tourist attractions. With its vibrant cosmopolitan cafe society, reflecting Cape Towns rich architectural heritage, you could not wish to be more centrally situated.
Self Catering Accommodation
Whether you are on holiday or visiting on business, this garden apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a double bed with a sleeper couch and we use only the finest percale linen and towels. There is full PVR (cable television) as well as WiFi, a safe, hairdryer, fan and heater.
There is an en suite bathroom with bath and shower and a separate kitchenette equipped with a microwave, oven, fridge, toaster and kettle as well as the necessary crockery, cutlery and implements required for cooking. The kitchen leads on to the private courtyard as does the bedroom. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment but you may smoke in the courtyard outside your room where table, chairs and ashtray are provided.
Eight On Burnside is owned and managed by Ursula who previously owned a guest house in the area for six years and who successfully managed two well known guest houses in the area for the new owners once she sold in 2010 (pre World Cup). She is now a registered tourist guide and as such with her many years in hospitality and tourism in the area and in Cape Town, she is able to offer superb service and attention to detail and is happy to advise on the best places to visit and make suggestions for restaurants and ways to experience our superb city like the locals do!
Ursula is happy to arrange car hire, onward travel arrangements, tours and transfers to and from the airport using reputable and reasonably priced suppliers. Laundry can be done at an additional cost. The apartment is serviced once weekly at no extra charge and if required more than once a week, can be arranged at extra cost.
