Diana has 25 years of interior design experience, and all this is reflected throughout the guest house. Dubells is also their home whilst in Joburg.
Our four suites each have their own distinct feel:
ZANZIBAR
Spacious and private, exquisitely furnished, Zanzibar is the largest of Dubell’s rooms and perfect for a couple and child … or luxury accommodation for just two. Separate from the other suites, Zanzibar’s en-suite has Victorian bath and separate shower.
MASSAI
Massai is has a King-size bed and is a very large room with a private patio and a stunning view. The en-suite consists of claw-foot bath with over-head shower and marble basin.
ZULU
A truly African feel has been created for this Queen-sized double room. En-suite bathroom has Victorian bath with shower and hand-painted basin.
SEYCHELLES
Opening onto the wooden deck, the Seychelles room offers a Queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with claw-foot bath and shower overhead.
Whilst staying at Dubells, a full continental and and traditional breakfast is served either in the dining room, on the terrace, or in the comfort of your own room. For brunches and lunches, less than 5 minutes away is a selection of stunning cafes. The choice is yours for supper and dinner - from casual dining, Portugese, Sushi, steakhouses, or formal dining - all just a stones throw away! Sam will advise you, and will happily drive you there and back.
