Dreamscape is a cosy, fully furnished self catering studio apartment in a historic art deco building in the heart of the City Bowl. The apartment is central but quiet and boasts stunning city views. It is ideal for leisure or business stays, with easy access to all Cape Town has to offer.
Self Catering Accommodation
This open plan studio has a kitchen equipped with a stove top, George Foreman grill, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee plunger. It has cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. There is a breakfast counter with bar stools and table and chairs for dining purposes.
The bed is a comfortable Queen size with quality linen. The cupboard has enough storage space for clothing, there is also extra packing space above the bed. A comfy two seater couch is provided. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. A communal terrace within the apartment complex is ideal for relaxing outdoors.
The apartment is equipped with a fan, hairdryer and fire extinguisher. There is a strongbox for valuables. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and toilet paper is supplied - but may not last your entire stay (depending on how long that is).

The apartment does not have an onsite or dedicated parking area but paid undercover parking is within walking distance and prior arrangement for long term parking is possible with the parkade itself. Paid on street parking is available on the same street as the establishment (this is free of charge after business hours).
The MYCITI (safe and reliable public bus transport) system is visible from the apartment. Indeed you can arrive this way from the airport. The Adderley Street hub to the right is a main interchange and areas like Gardens, Woodstock, Table Mountain (via Kloof Nek) Sea Point, Camps Bay, Hout Bay and even beaches as far afield (via Civic Centre connection) as Blouberg, Big Bay and Melkbosstrand can be reached. Century City which is another corporate hub, can also be reached via this system. The Waterfront can be reached from the Thibault Square bus station which is visible diagonally left from the apartment windows across Thibault Square.
Location & Attractions
The central location is the draw card for both leisure or business guests. St George's Mall is on your doorstep and is a pedestrian area in cape town central offering a number of stalls, traders, art galleries, restaurants and coffee shops on the sidewalk and of course street artists and entertainment.
The City Walk, which offers free Wi-Fi is a must for visitors. It starts at St Georges Mall, across Strand Street to Waterkant Street where it follows the Walk of Remembrance to terminate in Prestwich Memorial Park.
Easy walking access to tourist info centres, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, museums, arts and crafts, theaters, nightlife and trendy spots like Long Street and events like First Thursdays, Truth Night Market and Earth Fair Food Market.
Business wise it is in the heart of the CBD, within close proximity to the Netcare Hospital and Medi Clinic and walking distance of the Convention Centre (CTICC). From the City Bowl, you are close many activities and attractions, but also have nature on your doorstep. Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill cradle the City Centre and great beaches, gardens and forests are accessible from here too.
