Self Catering Accommodation
The Lodge offers a sparkling swimming pool to cool down in and a spacious lapa area where you can enjoy a traditional South African braai / barbeque.
Main Self-Catering Unit (Sleeps 8 -10):
This unit consists of four bedrooms including two queen sized beds, one double bed and four single beds. There is a tastefully decorated lounge with DStv, a spacious dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with a scullery. Underfloor heating is laid throughout the unit. Linen and towels are provided.
Double Room-Self Catering (Sleeps 2):
This room consists of either a double bed or two single beds, with a TV enabled with DStv, a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom with a shower only.
Backpackers (Sleeps 3 - 4):
This is very basic accommodation. There is a communal kitchen and no TV. The bathroom has a shower only. The unit has a bunk bed, which is a double bed at the bottom and a single bed at the top. There is an additional single bed available.

The area of Winterton offers a number of historical sites and has many activities that you can partake in, including trout and bass fishing, arts and craft trails, golfing, mountain hiking, visits to nature reserves and the Anglo-Boer Battlefields to name a few.
