Travel to the Cape West Coast and experience one of the five best destinations in South Africa - the picturesque fishing village of Paternoster. Die Opstal consists of 5 purpose built apartments sleeping 2 people per apartment, all set around the swimming pool in the courtyard.

This picturesque fishing town, 15km Northwest of Vredenburg, is one of the oldest coastal towns along the West Coast and is famous for its crayfish. There are many whitewashed fishermen's cottages dotted along a long, white beach. In the town some of the atmosphere of a fishing community of a bygone era is preserved.

Accommodation


Die Opstal is situated approximately 60 metres from the beach. The house consists of 5 purpose built apartments sleeping 2 people per apartment all set around the swimming pool in the courtyard.

Each apartment consists of built-in cupboards, shower room and open plan living / dining / kitchen area. Each kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove/oven and microwave Linen and bath towels supplied. Satellite television with 9 DSTV channels available.

Studio:
Apartment on the front "stoep". Double bedroom en-suite with jetmaster and limited view. Own front braai (barbecue) and own front entrance. The back entrance leads out to the pool area.

Thatch:
Apartment leading onto the front “stoep”. Double-story with double bed bedroom upstairs. Limited view from the bedroom, own front entrance. The back entrance leads to the pool area. Braai (barbecue) area at the pool.

Detatch:
Apartment slightly apart from the rest, with own under cover braai and side entrance. No View.

Stoep:
Apartment with own front "stoep" and braai. Double bed bedroom. Limited view.

Top Studio:
Upstairs en suite double bedroom with own terrace. No Kitchen. Breakfast facilities only, includes kettle, toaster and fridge. Beautiful views.

Dramatic scenic panoramas are complemented by a rich variety of animal life, seals, dolphins, whales and birds. No experience of kayaking is necessary because a competent guide guides all trips and kayaks are very stable.
