ACCOMMODATION
Damas Guesthouse offers stylish farm accommodation with 9 en-suite units and 2 family units in a safe environment. All units have an exquisite view of the mountains from private patios, which lead into the garden. Secure parking is close to the units. An á la carte breakfast is served in the Ficus Restaurant on the premises.
Each guest unit is private and individually decorated and equipped with DSTV, coffee and tea-making facilities, heater, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. All rooms have wireless internet.
Relax with a sundowner on the patio and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Mondays to Fridays we offer Dinner in our Dining room under the Giant Ficus Tree.

I did not stay at Damas. Arrived to find place deserted, reception locked up. Number scrawled on blackboard got through to someone who was entirely incoherent. Searched and found, alternative number - lady answered and said she'd meet me at Room 6. Parked where indicated, and stepped out of the car into dog poo (apologies), with another pile nearby. Already angry, I was then told that the restaurant - which was the specific reason I'd booked the place - would be closed for the entire weekend. Room was pokey and in my view tatty. Whole place was disinterested and unwelcoming - why take a booking if you know you're not going offer a full range of advertised services? I put room key in the appropriate box and left.
