Come and enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful Waterberg Mountain range, a malaria free area situated just 236km from Johannesburg and 25km south west of Mokopane (Potgietersrus) on a plateau of the Waterberg. An ideal destination for weekend getaways, small intimate bush weddings and conferences as well as small school groups.
The reserve offers spectacular views over hills and valleys of the Waterberg. Experience a very special trip in the heart of the Waterberg to see animals such as black wildebeest, impala, zebra, kudu, giraffe, waterbuck and our very special nyala breeding project which consists of +- 150 nyalas. Leopards and brown hyena are also very common in the area and move around freely. Roads in and out of the lodge are kept in a condition usable for normal 2 x 4 road vehicles.
The lodge offers luxury country style accommodation which consists of five single room chalets. Each chalet sleeps four (four single beds) with an en-suite bathroom. The lodge sleeps a total of 20 guests and is entirely self-catering with complete facilities in the kitchen and outside braai facilities.
The 200m2 lapa consists of a buffet setup for 20 guests, pool table, TV-room and bar (self catering). DStv is available; please bring your own smartcard. A fire place provides a wonderful warm atmosphere in winter and the lodge is also wheelchair friendly.
Game Drives
Game drives are allowed in your own 4 x 4 vehicles and guided game drives can also be arranged with prior notice.
