Cottage Pie

This private en suite bedroom is linked to the main house and features a beautiful thatch roof with a private entrance via a wooden staircase outside the house. It is furnished with a King-size bed (can be made up as 2 singles) and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, NO SHOWER. The room features a heat and eat facility only (no kitchen/kitchenette), equipped with a bar fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. It also features a TV with DSTV Premium. Towels are provided with quality linen including a down duvet and an electric blanket. A vanity, wardrobe, heater, fan, and 2 lounge chairs ensure that guests are comfortable while staying at Cottage Pie. Please take note that the Upstairs Under Thatch Unit does not have braai facilities or a private garden. Upstairs Under thatch Room is not pet friendly.

The open-plan unit contains a queen-size bed in the sleeping area while the en-suite bathroom has a shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a stove plate, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and a frying pan. The unit also features towels, quality linen, a down duvet as well as an electric blanket. A vanity, built-in cupboards, and 2 cane chairs ensure that guests are comfortable while staying at Cottage Pie. The unit opens onto a wooden deck where guests will find a 2-seater round table and it leads to a private area in the garden which has braai facilities and an outdoor dining area. Pet Friendly by prior arrangement, only miniature breeds.

The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate gas hob, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. The unit also features a flat-screen TV with DSTV Premium. Towels and good quality linen including a down duvet and an electric blanket is provided. A vanity, wardrobe, heater, fan, and lounge chairs ensure that guests are comfortable while staying at Cottage Pie. The unit opens onto a patio which has a picnic table and leads to a private area in the garden that has braai facilities and an outdoor seating area.

The detached double storey house is ideal for a family of 4 or maximum 5. It is situated in the charming garden. The 2 bedrooms are upstairs and one has a king-size bed that can also be made up as 2 single beds and the other room has 2 single beds that can also be converted into a king-size bed. The rooms each have an en suite bathroom, one with a corner bath and the other with a shower. There is a day bed for a child in the sitting area upstairs. Guests can also relax there and enjoy the view of the garden and the mountains. Downstairs there is a kitchen, a living area and a guest toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave oven and a coffee machine. The living area has an anthracite stove that keeps the house warm in the cold Clarens winter, TV with Premium DStv and a dining table with seating for 8 guests. The house leads to a covered patio with an outdoor dining area.
